One of my old time customer just visited my store.
She wishes me a Merry Christmas, and tell me that it may be the last time I see her.

She got cancer and the doc gave her a 3 months verdict.

This young lady is a vibrant lass with loads of talents,
in the past years she shows her photographs on many gallery around NSW.
The last few years she took up teaching Arts in local high school.

She is about 10 years younger than me.
Why the good ones must go early?

gelandangan, it is not pleasant to receive bad news during the Holidays. Life isn't fair but it does move on. We can send some prayers her way.

Sorry to hear that Gelan. In a situation like this I guess all we can do is remember the talent and cherish the friendship.

That's a tough one Geland, my thought is she'll be back. I'm sending a prayer and a wish.

It is hard to say good bye to someone so young. Try to look at it as God needs her more than we do. My condolences and Godspeed to her.

Dont right her off just yet, you cant do that until they actually bury her.
Depending on the cancer she might have 3 months, she might get longer.
Having spent 3 weeks in a Brissy oncology ward last year as a patient, you can never tell, as the old bloke I shared a room with said "Bloody doctors, told me I'D be DEAD 5 YRS ago and they still havent been f***ing right yet,
amazing bloke.
I wish your friend all the luck she'll need over the comming year.

I must reiterate what the others have said Gelan...cancer is an insidious disease, but not unbeatable, and a good attitude goes a long way mate. Also, as DHC4ever says...it ain't over till the fat lady sings mate.

I really sorry to hear of Kathy's passing Gelan...if it's any consolation mate, she is no longer suffering and in a far better place now. Please pass condolences to her family on our behalf mate.
