MASON, Texas (AP) — On a YouTube clip that has gone viral, brash Texas handgun instructor Crockett Keller defiantly tells Muslims and non-Christian Arabs he won’t teach them how to handle a firearm.State officials see the ad as possible discrimination, and may revoke Keller’s instructor license.

Tens of thousands of YouTube viewers have watched the $175 ad for Keller’s business in the small community of Mason, which has won him a handful of admirers but that embarrassed locals say misrepresents their community. Muslim groups dismissed the 65-year-old as a bigot.

Among the couple of thousand residents in the Central Texas town, Keller has other reputations.“He’s a character and likes attention,” said Diane Eames, a jeweler with a downtown shop in Mason’s quaint town square. Keller has received plenty of attention since his radio spot on a rural country music station in Mason County, about 100 miles east of Austin, went viral on the Internet.

Keller said he whipped up the script on his iPad in 10 minutes. The ad quit airing last week.“If you are a socialist liberal and/or voted for the current campaigner-in-chief, please do not take this class,” Keller says in the ad’s closing seconds, also taking a swipe at President Barack Obama. “You’ve already proven that you cannot make a knowledgeable and prudent decision as required under the law. Also, if you are a non-Christian Arab or Muslim, I will not teach you this class. Once again, with no shame, I am Crockett Keller.”

I agree, as a teacher/tutor taking a fee he has every right to say who he will and will not train. He's just gone a step further than most and said what we all think!

People today are a bunch of whiny little sissy's. Even if what was said does not apply to Jon Q. Dooshy he still makes a stink about it, goes ranting all over, files law suits etc and so on...see "Occupy (insert location here)".

Most people today have little or no comon sense and really could use a swift kick in ass or a slap in the mouth- it worked and woked well when I got out of control and long before I was around.

Why? Because- the world does NOT revolve around you and your twisted view of reality as percieved by yourself and 4 or 5 others unwahsed jerkoff's living in a tent in a park squatting in a bush, smoking pot all day instead of trying to find a job, any job, and live in a normal apartment and maybe contribute to society a little and instead squat on the lawn at city hall ranting about crap that no one cares about with no relevency to anything....

Damn right I wouldn't want to teach some tool that supports this regime how to shoot moreso I'd be tempted to show them the loud end a few times by accident on purpose dontchaknow. How bout we go occupy their act, move them out, clean them up with GI showers, give them a tie and coat and tell them "there, no more excuses, join the human race you have one week or it's lights out for good you useles little whiny jerk-wad". Oh wait that aint part of their FREE plan they'd have to do something to get something- freakin' makes me sick the Godless aholes we pander and cater too. Evil or Very Mad

Back in the olden days a trip behind the barn solved a lot of the a--hole people (read Liberal) problems we have today, and then if it was a serious enough problem there was always the swamp.

as an instructor he has the right to refuse. good on him. after 9/11 the amount of stories floating round about dodgy assh#&% looking for flying lessions sort of brought this issue to peoples minds. whats the friggin difference. let the do gooders who say hes discrimanating say its ok to teach them to fly an aeroplane instead and watch the backlash.

As long as I don't take Government money, I can limit any class I teach in any way I wish. If I don't want to teach someone then I don't have to. You can take a license away but not what he knows. There are a lot of folks who will take his class with or without the license.

I support this guy's right to teach who he wishes and say so as well. Its all a part of his honest, straight forward, concise advertising regime.

This is something else I happened to come across...if I was a citizen of the USA I would be very very scared about what Obama's true agenda might actually be.

like Obama or not the fact he is a muslim or should I say a man of the muslim faith SHOULD have sweet farrk all to do with his politics....
come on, is this not flogging a dead horse or clutching at straws.. just ask the Irish about condeming a man because of his religion.
Im in no way saying he is good or bad Im just saying a fellas religion is his own choice AS LONG AS HE KEEPS IT TO HIMSELF AND DOESNT TRY TO FORCE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME. we have covered this ground here before.

He--s bells, we've known all along that the big O was muslim, and that he is a liar, and an--oh well I could get carried away with this. Anyway he is a very dangerous man, and I hope the world recognizes that if he is re-elected it is not only a USA problem but a world problem.

Back to a persons faith, yes I too believe that a persons faith is a matter of choice and that choice should be respected. However, when your faith calls for the forced conversion of all others to your faith, or death ya'll have gone too far. One of the few things I have been able to do for the last couple of years is read and did a lot of reading about muslim faith and core principles. I cannot and will not support them or their faith in any way shape or fashion.

I think we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg and now with all the radical change in the middle east they can ramp up their game. Hope I'm wrong but I doubt it. It's funny as I read through the world news everyday how so many other countries are having serious problems with their muslim immigrants. Germany, Sweden, Australia to name a few. Nuff said.
