Here is a nice, easy to drink "Rough Red" from New Zealand.

Cheers, Vince

The part where it said "maturing in pig bladders" turned me off. Very Happy Very Happy

We should make drinking this mandatory for freeloading boat people.
Alcohol, pig bits and cat pieces, 2 bottles per person per day until they are processed. Dont drink it ,dont come in.

Menu should read;
Breakfast; bacon
Lunch; ham
Dinner; Pork

All washed down with the cat hair bouquet above.

Hi there all, haven't graced the columns for a while due to all sorts of excuses.....ahhh purple death a rite of passage for all red blooded kiwi girls, it's as bad as it looks and tastes worse, shite in a bottle does not even go far enough to describe it.....but its popular. It does however make excellent mulled wine for all you ski bunnies out there.

Actually I'll be honest with you northern equatorial types NZ and Australia make the THE BEST red wines in the world. The Aussies are awesome merlot and Cabernet Savignion makers but we kiwis excel in a good Pinot Noir. kiwis are also world leaders in Savignion Blanc wine.......so there.

I agree wholeheartedly Radr...although I must admit, I have yet to find a Pinot Noir from anywhere that will equal the 1979 vintage from Tyrells in Pokolbin (Hunter Valley) NSW.
