Reminds me a little bit like "Li'l Abner and Daisy Mae" boots. Or, maybe, "Ma & Pa Kettle". Very Happy

I never said they were ladies' boots. I just like a more traditional style.

OK-

1- Suz IS a LADY.

2- The BOOTS are not sex-specific.

I understand that you and Suz are wearing "unisex-boots"
correct?

But aren't these boots for horse-riding? So what are you doing with these boots on a ladder... ? You got ideas now that Suz is wearing the same boots... ?

It's a US thing Big E, called underslung (Cuban heel in some parts) for saddle riding with a spur-ridge. The Packer boot is really old school US stuff with Calvary history as well as I understand it. Wellington or slip-on stuff was too flimsy. Primairly a working/riding boot for mountainous/rocky terrain, skinners and packers. Snake proof and heavilly waxed were a couple fine points. Many today come with Vibram soles, makes 'em bomb-proof and ready fer any arse kickin' contest. Razz
