These guys are tough. I don’t remember any wars they've had in over 60 years, so these medals must be for heroism in the intra-murals.

North Korean officers… could be easily defeated with a giant magnet...

The problem is they are full of their own self importance and delusional about their own and their militaries capabilities.
If these are the clowns advising Kim, they are running a very fine line between belligerence and stupidity.

They're not medals they're a new modified body armor based on the old platelet style used by the chinese and mongolians in the 1200's. Very Happy

I believe that the medals are used to conceal the bullet holes in the "hand-me-down" uniforms. They can't afford new uniforms so they save the ones off "exiting" soldiers. They have lots of spare medals but little cloth so they do the best with what they have....
