Last Sat. I went on my first prairie dog shoot, and man was that fun. It's addictive!
Now I only fired 71 shots (15 hits at 54 to 378 yds.) and my buddy shot 10 p-dogs and about 100 rounds. Now I know this is small stuff compared to SD or WY shoots-but it was still super fun for 5 hours.

We had such a good time that we plan to go again this month-I can hardly wait, it almost makes me forget how expensive gas is.

Sounds like fun. I am going out to Ingomar, Montanna in the begining of July. I am really looking forward to it. What rifles are you using? I am planning on taking a .223, 22-250, and a .220swift. I figure that will cover me for as far out as I want to shoot Smile

Cody, I was only using a .204 Ruger with 40 gr. V-Max at 3675 fps. Next trip I am ging to try some 32 grainers and maybe also bring my 6.5 x 55 Swede with 85 gr. Sierras.

Your trip sounds like it will be exciting.

I have a Ruger .204 in the km77vbz configuration, but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet:(
