Yup, feel free to talk about air rifles. I've always had the opinion if we ever get so much traffic of a specific topic in a existing forum, we'll create a new forum dedicated to that new topic (IE: if we suddenly start getting a ton of discussion in a bunch of threads every day regarding air rifles, we'll create a new air rifle forum and move the related threads into it).

An air rifle is a real fun gun to chase really small game like rats and mice.

All of the principles of shooting...The Rule of Aim and the Sequence of Firing a Shot....are the same as a rimfire or centrefire rifle.

For teaching kids to shoot with pretty much complete safety, you can't beat an air rifle.
They are a great teaching tool, and like the guys say, can be of great use in the field.
