I will fish anything, but Trout is by far the only fish that really gets me excited.
Those trout that your Wife caught, were worth a week of fishing for.

Tell her nice going.
It takes skill to hook and bring in trout the size of those Morax.

Quote::
The rate of survival for fish exposed to air for 30 seconds was only 62%, and those that were held out of the water for 60 seconds had a mere 28% chance of living to fight another day.

Catch and Release is just a feel good method of fishing. If they are out of the water long enough to pick up and take a good picture of, its more then likely that they are now dead.

Dunno where you found that tidbit, but I doubt those numbers are accurate...

Just looked it up on Google, I know that here there is plenty of debate on catch and release fishing and how likely the fish can survive.

His specs figure as correct. Trout are a bit delicate out of the water. The water pressure is needed to support a lot of their inerds...

There is a trick on how you release them that helps. Hold them under water gently until they swim away by themselves. If they don't...Food.

I don't eat 'em, I just like catching 'em....

For every "expert" you find doubting any catch and release benefits, I can find one that swears it is beneficial...why bother with size or "slot" limits if the little ones or the mature ones are gonna die anyway?
