As we enter another year, I have a few thoughts.

I am running 10 rifle matches from March through December at a local gun club. My intentions are to get as many new shooters out as possible.

Stash as much ammo and reloading components as I can afford before January 20th. I have been active all year so this is just topping off my supplies.

Get to some favorite gun shops and sniff out any used bargains.

Finish up a few gun projects that have been lagging for far too long.

Keep an eye on those fools in Washington and Harrisburg.

What resolutions are you good folks going to make?

All the best...
Gil

Well last year I vowed that I wouldn't use another credit card, and I have kept that so far. This year I am also planning on stocking up a little more on reloading components, and trying to get outdoors and shoot more.

Same as you Gil, only I'm running three Pistol Leagues from April thru Sept.
Last year, I was able to increase the shooters by 33%, and I'm looking to do at least that well this year.

Another Club has been after me to run their Pistol Shoots, but I don't think that the Wife would stand for it, and I don't blame her. I takes a lot of time to run these things. However I am planning on shooting their Winter Pistol League this year just for fun.

I think that the Dems. will have their plates full for a while, but I too, even with Bush in charge, always keep at least a couple of years reloading supplies handy.

Happy New Year to all!!!!!

Eric

Then maybe get my pistol license (aka a Restricted PAL).

Keep breathing, stay above ground...and try to be a better person.

Try to give my family more time
Try to be a better husband and father
Try to be less judgmental
Try to be more even minded
Try to be as honest as I can
Try to be a better hunter
Try to get away hunting with my mate more often

Cheers, Vince

Shocked Ah the New Year Resolutions. I need to make many. But I know I will fail miserably on most. Real old dogs are harder to train, not impossible, just harder. These are not in any particular order, just as they came to mind.

1. Be more patient with people too dumb to breathe. You know the guys that are too stupid to know they are stupid.
2. Get more involved in politics, only to insure that what rights we have remaining in the USA do not deteriorate further.
3. Keep checking HuntingNut for new posts.
4. Ask more questions, so I do not blow myself up.
5. Get my family out in the woods more often.
6. Teach them survivalist techniques.
7. The big one, quit smoking.
8. The second big one, loose weight. It’s really tough when you need people to help you do anything.

And, oh my God there are so many, I am probably a lost cause, but I will do my best.

Very Happy But the final and most important in my book is to tell others about God and Jesus Christ. If you don’t know ask me. I will do my best to explain the Gospel to you, but I am not a minister, only a person who is just now recognizing the impact God has had on my life. Very Happy

I wish you all a wonderful New Year, full of prosperity, and love, a full bag in hunting, a five shot group no larger than the diameter of the round, and success in all your resolutions.

" Tell others about God and Jesus Christ."

That's what It's all about Lester.

If you have that, everything else will take care of itself.

With the secularists trying to take over, it's up to Catholics, and Protestants alike to "Evangelize" wherever and whenever we can.

Growing older is inescapable but growing up is out of the question!
