My Uncle Mike died of cancer earlier today . He was only 61 . Uncle Mike was a Vietnam 101 Airborne vet with a Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal . He served in Tet in '68. After 'Nam , he was troubled for years over what happened . He's the second member of my family that's died of cancer in the last 6 months.

I wish to express my sincere condolences on your loss. It was not only your loss, our loss as well. I am sure that recent changes in how our military men and women have been recieved back from defending our country and beliefs did your Uncle Mike well. As a Vietnam Vet myself it has really made me feel great to see how many people are standing up and saying "Thank you for your service to our country."
There will always be the few that are cowards and would rather see our country torn down, but I think the majority is starting to stand up to these kind. I think the folks that voted for more liberal ways are regretting voting the way they voted. I think the tide will change in the near future.
Salute to Mike!!

Thank you for your concern .What's interesting was at the time he served he was a Canadian . In fact, 3 of my Dad's brothers served in the military and all of them are on green cards.
