This was a few days ago at one of the ranches.

Thanks Clint.

Some pretty winter images! Doesn't look like you got as much as El Paso. Where is the ranch?

Found it on my topo map! I always wondered where Kermit TX was! Looks pretty flat out there with the only significant rise in the NE part of the county. The horizon is the limit.

I assume from your forum name that your favorite pastime is varmint hunting. What is your favorite rifle?

From sun beaten Australia, I believe that white stuff is called "snow"..

I heard some old man who like to visit kids on their bedrooms and allegedly leave presents
usually came out when the ground are covered with the white stuff..

Cheers

What is it?

If IT should ever happen out here you can bet it'll be the end of the world for millions!

The body shop's around here will dig it though.

Don't know just where you are at in So. Cal., but we had one inch of snow in Santa Paula (I believe) in 2004 or 5. And around 6 inches in the foot hills about 3 miles from Santa Paula. I know as I rode horses in it.

And you are correct. Most of the locals (most of which were "hispanic") found that telephone poles and other cars made good stopping devices... Laughing

We go through that every year on the first snow fall. For some reason they forget that the white stuff is slippery.

Clint, do you use the standard 1:14 twist? I found your website and it mentioned building wildcat rifles.

I like a 1-8 for my 22-250 IMP. and a 1-12 for my 22-250 Rem. and for my 223 Rem. a 1-8 or 1-12. In my 22-CJ I use a 1-14.

Ok what bullets (make and grain) are you firing out of the 22-250 IMP? With a twist like that you have a great rifle for even deer because it can handle the heavier bullets. Boy, the 75gr Barnes TSX would be dynamite in that!!
