Look in your phone book for a local scrap yard or salvage dealer and give them a call. I save my old brass and trade it for wheelweights or linotype. Hope this helps. Take care...
Joe.

There is a swapin and sellin forum on castboolits.com that frequently has lead about a buck a pound. And there are Vendor on the site that sell also. Tons of info and good stuff on the site.

I picked up mine off the pistol range.
Easily the cheapest lead I will ever get, free, except for the labor involved.

Scrap yards, or put an ad in your local buy&sell paper in the wanted section.

Also try the local autowreckers, ask them if you can run aroun the yeard popping off wheel weights for a couple bucks to fill your pockets.

Autowreckers are a great source for many things, and its not like they get a lot of call for used wheel weights.
