That's right water in West Tx. After all the rain we've had all the water holes have fill up for awhile.

Same here in NSW Australia, after a decade of drought, we suddenly get all the rain owed to us in a couple of weeks..

Somebody stop the rain dances already!!

Normally by now my lawn in all burnt up but this year I am still mowing twice a week just to keep from raking. We had 3 1/2 inches Tuesday.

It hasn't rained here all that much this year. It keeps to the west of me this year. But my one acre cliff side lawn is still green and requires mowing once a week.

By the way...A 35 gr HP CCI-Mini Mag from a 20.5" barrel WILL penatrate an armadillo's armor. Through and through from 50 yards.

I've tried the reverse rain dance and it doesn't work in the winter here, it does work in the summer but we never get any rain in the summer.....you might try it in Tx.

So what ya gonna do with a dead armadillo Bushy? You could skin him and flatten him out and make a rug!!! Oh and did you find his heart on the wrong side?

yours truly
Suz

Suz...Small hole in and about a 2" hole out the other side. He would probably make a better bowl then a rug, but I have plenty of bowls so I'll send him to you to skin if you wish.

We had a dry June and so far July has been rather wet. Wonder what August will be. I could use a bit of a break from mowing my cliff. I am glad that Texas is getting wet. We do have a friend (though he hasn't posted in quite a while) with Cattle down there.

Great more rain. The weather man said clear with a possibility of shower late tonight. I guess he lied.
