I lost my Mom last week, the Funeral is tomorrow, I didn't get a chance to tell her that I loved her. She had been bed ridden for months and didn't know who I was for as long. She is in a better place now. Please if you still have your Mom give her a Kiss and a Hug and tell her you love her..
Take Care, and God Bless

Good point Glockman, I felt that way when an uncle of mine died. Best wishes to you and your family. I can't imagine being without my parents, but that day is coming. May the Sun and the Moon and the Stars....

Sad to hear of your loss. Glockman,
Gave mine a hug and a kiss today, not that she knew who I was.
But hey, its still your mum.

Please accept my condolences.
You're right too: so often we take for granted something that is truly precious.

I lost My mom this last October.
I spent her last six months visiting twice a week and spent a week with her - just hanging out and talking. I fixed her all the foods she never had time to ask for and we took short walks.
we shared a lot in that last six months and it was worth the travelling and extra effort. we said our goodbyes and told each other many times that we loved. I think it was because of all that time we spent (we have always been close) that when she died it didn't hurt so much.
I still hpld her close - kinda like a hug - and feel her close to me. I find I don't miss her as much because I feel her nearby. I thought I was going to have a hard time but it has proven to be less traumatic than I thought it would be.
I hope you can find a way to give your mom a hug - even though she is gone in body - she might be close in spirit.
Best wishes to you and the family.
