Hi,

Thanks for adding the Hawkesbury River Cast Bullets to your database.

Can you add .316 and .379 to the Bullet Diameter drop-down selection so I can call the .310 Cadet bullet and the 38-55 bullet from the database.

Also - can you add 'Bertram' to the Case Type Database. Bertram are a well known Australian manufacturer of obsolete calibre brass.

Many thanks for an exceptional piece of software.

Yep!

Slowly but surely we'll get all of the various missing component information added to our databases Smile

Ok so I went to make these changes, and found they were already there... just not sorted properly in ascending order. I made the proper change so the next version should display them properly.

Ok so hang on... what we need to do is add .316 as a caliber, for it to show up in the bullets drop down list. Its kind of an interesting issue that it's that way, but thats where we need to add it.

So for .316 and .379 diameters, what calibers are these?

Never mind... I can think of several cases where you might use different sized bullets for a single caliber... Muzzleloaders for example spring to mind.

I'm going to change how things work to allow this.

Hi,

The .310 Martini Cadet Rifle has been around since 1900. Some shoot the .316 bullet well, some shoot the .323 heeled bullet well. Both .316 and .323 are commecially available in Australia from Hawkesbury River, for the .310 Cadet rifle.

The .379 bullet I refer to (again from Hawksbury River) is their offering for the 38-55 rifle. .38 caliber, 55 gn black powder.

Ok this change was made. You can now change the diameter of the bullet to something other than the diameter of its parent firearm.

For example: You can create a .50 caliber muzzleloader and in the loads section select a .45 caliber bullet as used with sabots.

Good idea, glad to get it implemented.
