Yea, they are beauties! Where did you get these? I've been trying to find a nice laminate thumbhole stock for my Ruger 10/22 and to my amazement, they don't fit me. There are lots of stocks out there, but every one I've tried has too much distance to the trigger by about 1/2". It is too far of a stretch to reach the trigger and I don't have small hands! I use MagPul's largest grip on my ARs. These stocks don't look like they have this issue.

Up to your usual magnificent standard DS...they are simply beautiful mate...and I don't particularly like laminated stocks. Those groups are nothing to sneeze at mate...that are brilliant.

One thing about a good laminated stock is it will not swell twist and buckle like a solid one piece timber stock will in inclement weather...so they have their good side too.

To this day I don't know why I didn't turn my 10 inch BBL 30.30 TC Contender into a single shot carbine...unless it was the cost (more likely than not). Thompson Centre Arms made some beautiful firearms.

Cheers, Vince

DS - Beautiful rifles and excellent groups. You should put together a Gun Porn calendar.

Nice Rifles..did you have any trigger work done on them? I don't care much for the heavy trigger on my Encore.

I do trigger jobs on the T/C Contender, Encore and H&R on a daily basis. Most guys ask for a set trigger pull of 2 1/2 to 3 lbs.....

Please tell me you live in Michigan and you'll work on my Encore Trigger...
On my Savage rifles I have my trigger pull set at 2 lbs. But I have never had the Encore apart..
