Used firearms?

So far so good. Last purchase was at a pawn shop, Ruger 44 mag, stainless Super Blackhawk. Not a mark on it, just the barrel had never been cleaned. Shoots great, $240. Very Happy

Used rifles can also be a great source for used scopes. A lot of gun dealers don't pay much more for a rifle with a scope than they would if it didn't have one. I've gotten a few good old scopes from used rifles, and then resold the rifles for the same price I paid with the scope. As long as the used scope still has a warranty, you can't go too wrong. I've gotten an old 3x Leupold, 6-18 Swift, and a great old 2.5x Bushnel from used rifles that I resold.
