DallanC,
Sounds like you dodged a bullet and that is a good thing. Now go out and buy some lottery tickets for us. All the best...

WOW!!! It is true folks don't realize just how close we are to having something life changing happen in thier lives. The only sure thing in life is the last breath you just took!! I have done alot of evaluation myself over the past year as well. So yeah get yourself squared away and do the best you can with what you have. Here is to a healthy life for as long it is gifted to us all! Maybe someday we can have a get together somewhere in the middle of the country. The other site I am on does it once a year usually in the New England area. Would be nice to have it a bit more west.
Glad you doing better! Listen to the doc's they usually do know a thing a or two despite what we may think. Good travels to you and yours.

I'm getting alot done on the Android version of PointBlank while I sit bored on the couch anyway LOL! I have the table data output drawing and the graphical trajectory working. It's interesting learning the Android system but it does have quirks that trip me up from time to time.

Dallan-
I want to personally thank you for THE place to hang out and discuss our passions.
In an ever shrinking world of access, tollerance, coupled with ignorant un-washed masses this site is a bastion of normalcy and comradere.
I've made some great freinds and contacts here from around the world due to you and your efforts and even hung out and shot with some.
You've given us a great gift, for this I am ever thankful.

Stovey says it all and want to second him. I check in here at least daily and always recommend it to anyone interested in shooting or hunting.

That would be the pressures of your own business and 60+ hr weeks, 170/105 is stroke territory as you probably already know, time for a de-stress.

Damn Stovey...ya bought a tear to me eye mate. But seriously, I couldn't have said it any better myself mate. The friends I have made here are second to none...and it's all because one man decided to put a website together...DallanC. Dallan, you are a man among men, and more deserving of anything that I could ever do for you mate.
You look after yourself because there are three or four others who need you a lot more than we do mate...your lovely wife and children. I've seen what my daughter and three grandsons have been through since loosing their Dad and I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
Cheers, Vince

Yep, had followup with the surgeon's assistant today. Things look great, all things concidered. Virtually no side-effects which is good so as long as I keep on the meds and follow some other instructions, I should be fine.
They gave me a CDROM today with video of my heart while they injected dye at various stages. Its a little strange to watch thinking "wow, that is inside me". Incredible though to see where they can thread those tools, and watch the dye distribution as it shoots down various arterys spreading out like a tree root system.
Heading back to work tomorrow.
