Wrap in cotton - NO WAY
Spring, in snow country, is amazing. I was out from 3:30 AM until 5:30, deep in the woods near the game sanctuary where many of our local black bears hibernate. Got to hear three bears waking, hooting to each other. A fourth passed within 25 yards, got a whiff of me after continuing past another 50 yards, and bolted off into the distance.
I am psyched for my cardio appointment today. I finally (haha - listen to me, 6 days after leaving the cardio care ward) get to have the cardio-rehab nurses put me through my paces to see what kind of regimen I am capable of. I have tried a little at home and am hard-pressed to find anything that will make me short of breath.
AMAZING when I think that I used to have to rest a few minutes after each flight of stairs I climbed!

Sounds like you have suffered minimal heart muscle damage, either that or you're just glad to be alive after the last couple of weeks.
Go see what the tests reveal, its not called a stress test for nothing.
Goodluck.

Martz I've been reading your posts lately and I can see an ear to ear grin in every post, I'm so glad you're feeling your oats again! I know what it's like to be real and in the flesh again myself. I went from atrial fibrilation to normal heart beat in and out for about 2 years, now I'm always in A-fib but it's like normal feeling. Going in and out of A-fib was like a death sentence to me, I was either way up or way down. I've gotten used to being in A-fib and even though it's not optimal performance, I can do anything I want now, just sometimes slower. Instead of taking so many days off work because it was all I could do to walk, now I'm back to mowin the lawn and climbing hills or whatever. What a huge difference on the morale too. Keep up the good work Martz and I hope every day is a joy like mine are.
Suz

Thanks. Suz - love ya' sweetheart 1 yeah - morale is high. I was praying to Lady Luck last Winter that I would make it to my granddaughter's second birthday (March) I started making lists and cleaning / taking inventory of stuff in storage to prepare my will. I was in the process of selling my property to one of my daughters for $1. I was absolutely certain that I would not see another New Year
Now - Hey/, screw the inheritance idea. I haven't yet salted away the goodies these kids will inherit, someday. WooHoo - Time to amass a new fortune . . .
