I don't have access to any information other than there was more than one gun involved. I am assuming that a bench warrant that was served led to the guns. I don't know if a trial connected to my gun is in the works right now. The fact that the police don't know if the gun will be needed as evidence so how that plays out in the future will determine how it affects me.
Whoever stole the gun is likely to be in jail for long enough that I would forget all about it before he got out. I don't know for sure but I am assuming that this was part of the anti-drug task force actions on an old bench warrant. The task force is made up of the county and city police in the tri-county area which include one county in Oregon and two in Washington. The arrest doesn't seem to be connected to the theft directly or there would be no doubt that the gun would need to be held for evidence.

I am hoping to get a call to come and pick up my gun in a couple of days.
