Yesterday, I picked up an unfired reproduction 1817 Harpers Ferry .69 caliber musket that looks exactly like a Charleville. It had been sitting in a gun shop for several years. A reproduction Charleville lists for over $1,400.00 today. I got the Harpers Ferry for about half that price with the box, video, bayonet and manual. I always wanted one of these. Take care...

The manual says Pedisoli (sp?) was the maker. It is impressive. Take care...

Pedersoli makes good stuff, I have one from them myself. Mine is the "Creedmore Remington Rolling Block".
