Are doggies still out now? Is it a good time to go out to Fort Pierre Nat. Grassland to hunt doggies?

P-dogs are still out, and for the most part they are out year round. Anytime is a good time to go this time of the year. If possible though, I would wait till after Labor day in hopes of some cooler weather. Good Luck, and have fun on your hunt. Very Happy

Not sure where you are referring to but as of late yesterday afternoon there are about 600-700 fewer of them than there was on Friday. They are "out" laying dead on the floor of what we call Death Valley.

We have a dog town right in city limits. Hundreds of them. So tempting......................

I was deer hunting this last week and saw thousands of pds out. The high temp was 13 degrees....pds in our area never go into full hibernation. They are equally stupid year round.
