Years ago, I had a Colt Official Police revolver and liked it. For some reason, I traded it off for something else. Yesterday, I came across a Colt Officers Model in mint condition cheap. It looks like an Official Police, but has adjustable sights. An old gunsmith swore that the Colt Official Police action locks up tightly and he was right. For some reason, the new revolvers and semi-auto handguns do not appeal to me. I much prefer the older classic handguns. All the best...

You know...Like my Colt SAA .357 magnum (42 yrs old). My Colt .22 Woodsman (54 yrs old). Browning 12 ga BSS (38 yrs old). Winchester mod 94 (59 yrs old). Marlin .22 mod 81 (unknown age). The rest of my collection is relatively new as in 20 years or less except for my grandfather's .38 short rimfire (black powder) pocket revolver...I never sold or traded any of my firearms. Figured once paid for it cost nothing to store them even if I couldn't afford to eat at times...So I have them all that I started with...

Which classic??

If I ever see a pre-1898 Welbey Revolver I cannot promise that I wont buy it up.
