Um.....me

Had a very quiet night mate...only one light beer. I was playing with the rock band and had to drive.

Also, I only came across the Happy New Year link a day or so ago. Embarassed

My wife and I were married on January 1, so we normally go out to a nice restaurant on December 31 (nothing is open on Jan. 1). My wife and one of her nieces wanted to drive up to San Antonio (hour drive) to watch the big fire works display put on by the city, so that's what we did. We parked on a side street near downtown, and got a great view. I didn't get to bed until about 2 am. I only had two Shiner Bock's with supper, so I was in pretty good shape on Jan. 1.

I was glad that my daughter didn't ask to come out to the ranch to shoot fireworks. It is so dry, I'm afraid that they'd burn off the countryside.

Nah....driving mate. Have to do the right thing.

They had plenty of mixers there...Jim Beam and Coke etc, but I will not mix drinking and driving.

Now, that's not to say I didn't want to throw a few down me face Very Happy

....but it's not worth the risk.
