The Grade III pests I have in my 'hood are the two-legged-spray-paint-the-walls kind, and, they won't let me shoot those. Damnit!

I'll actually be down that way next weekend...not this long weekend...the one after.

Have to go and watch my Granddaughter ride in a gymkhana this weekend.

But...as for the red deer....have to find a place where they will allow shooters.

Biggest obstacle I see is the Australian Deer Association...I believe that they are quickly trying to turn deer hunting into an elitist sport by tying up properties and also bringing fees into the equation...trophy fees etc. Also, they will expect you to be available for working bees on the properties and if you can't do this...you pay an increased fee. The average guy will not be able to afford to hunt deer...even though they are a feral pest.
