Almost a month now.

Well A month has almost passed without Cathy being able to verbally tell me what I need to do. I still miss her deeply and I mourn her a little everyday, and I believe I will for the rest of my life. But as I mourn so shall I "live" and "be happy!" We are doing Ok here in SW Iowa. Adrian's first day of Kindergarten is the 19th of Aug. 2010 and I have asked for that day off to take him and pick him up. I will also be taking a picture and making sure that a copy makes it to Cathy's grave site. Thanks to a friend in Central Iowa for that one! I really wish she could have seen him off with me, and well there will be a thousand I wishes...but the reality is that she is still "seeing" these things just in a totally different perspective now. The song "Holes in the Floor of Heaven' comes to mind. I liked that song when it came out and I still do and it means even more to me now. I just wanted to let everyone know I am still kicking dirt clods around out here. Ya' all take care!!!! 7-3's

That's a big step for Adrian. Make sure to send him off with some of his favorite snacks in his lunch. Is it the first day for any of his neighborhood friends, too?

Yes. there is another little boy he has been going ot head start with who live next to us here in the building that will be going with him to school and we have "suggested" they be put in the same class. There is another little one here in the complex who is also going to be with them.

Thats the way Arron...no sense in sitting around and feeling sorry for yourself mate...you have far more important things to do, like look after Adrian and get on with your life mate.

Keep on hanging on buddy...you will make it ok...and if you need guidance or advice, well there are plenty of mates here who are willing to assist my friend.
