Cool Just a bit of info for everyone. If you use a Maxi of any kind that has an exposed lead base put a patch of some kind between the pawder and the base of the bullet.

I have used a couple of things and they have all provided a great increase in accuracy. The easiest item to use are Wonder Wads, they are marketed by TC and also Ox Yoke and have been impregnated with Wonder Lube. I have also used my own version of this by cutting my own felt wads and melting Wonder lube to pour over them. Another item I have used when I can find it is Hornet Nest Material. You can find large hornet nests out in the woods, just be sure that they are EMPTY!! Also you can cut fiber wads from milk cartons etc. They all protect the base of the bullet and aid in accuracy. Cool

My experience has been that without a base wad the best I get for groups at 50 yards is ablut 3" with a base wad groups shrink down to the 1" mark and sometimes less but only when using a scope as my eyes and open sights don't do that well anymore. Cool

I use wonder wads under my patched ball and under the girls loads with T/C's Maxi Hunters. They work great! Very Happy
