Paula Broadwell is a Military Intelligence Officer with the US Army Reserve and serves in that capacity as a Major with Top Secret Clearance.

And none of the documents she has were obtained improperly from what appears to be the case, she obtained them through her work with the US Army Military Intelligence Branch.
